Corporate
Company A - £ 60 million turnover 3000 employees
Their challenge was the fact that they were losing sales to competitors and lost revenues of over £1.2 million over one year.
The Sales Director was asked to address this perceived problem with the sales team and duly set up sales training courses for his 180 sales force at a cost of £150 000. This impacted on time out of the business and the confidence of the sales team. The results from the course identified the sales people as being an excellent team therefore the problem was not within that area of the business.
Sales continued to fall so The Board decided to call in Performance consultants to discuss the options.
By usng our 7 Step Performance methodology we identied all the links within the business that impacted on sales. The problem area identified from our 7 step Perfomance Consulting method was not sales but on the production and QA of their products plus project management issues which were duly resolved. Revenues have increased by over £300 000 within the past 4 months and customer confidence has been restored in most instances.

Using our Step Methodolgy we drew out the issues involved with supporting global learning and development plans.
Perceived issue
Their perceived issues were that the users were not engaging with the learning and processes should be put in place to make sure the users made full use of the current systems available. It was agreed that the resources required and time to get this to the internal staff was going to cost around £ 350 000 and take over 6 months.
The outcomes from our 7 step methodology showed;
The real issue was in the current incumbent systems and their inability to deliver what was required by the business.
Solution
